Hey, i'm emma

I’m so happy you’re here!

I picked up my first camera at 14 and never put it down. Today I get to do this as my actual job (teenage Emma would never believe it), and somehow it still doesn't feel like work. To have a front-row seat to document the biggest days of your life, and all the everyday ones in between, is truly the greatest privilege.

A photo strip featuring a woman with long wavy hair, smiling and winking in the first two photos, holding a camera in the third photo, and pointing the camera lens towards the viewer in the last photo.
My why

I know firsthand how fast it all goes.

You blink and somehow five years have passed and you're wishing you could step back into a moment you didn't even realize you'd miss. I feel it most as a mom — watching my own three girls grow up way too fast is exactly what drives me behind the lens.

What I'm creating will outlast all of us: passed around tables someday, flipped through by people who weren't even there yet. It's my heart to tell your story exactly as it felt.

Me in my Element (probably high on caffeine)
Always down for…

Some of my favourite love stories

I’m after the real thing.

The nervous laughter, the way he looks at you while you fix your hair, the chaos of a Tuesday afternoon with your kids that somehow turns into the most beautiful set of photos you’ve ever seen. The moments that actually feel like your life.
